What is Prep Week?

During September 24–30 each year, we mark Climate Preparedness Week, dedicated to learning, service, and actions that better prepare our communities for extreme weather events. By coming together to host events, we provide the resources and space to think about the ways that climate change disadvantages some communities more than others. Last year, we held over 134+ events. This year, we're hoping to hold even more. Please let us know if you would like to host an event in 2020, or would like to lend support in any other way.

The Boston City Council, Boston May Day Coalition, the Boston Public Health Commission, the Cambridge City Council, the Cambridge Public Library, CultureHouse, Eastie Farm, several branches of the Massachusetts Library System, Mayor Narkewicz of Northampton, Speak for the Trees Boston, the Somerville City Council, UMass Boston's Sustainable Solutions Lab, and more.
