Winthrop Engages: Climate Change

On Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 6 p.m., Winthrop Public Library will host: Winthrop Engages: Climate Change. The event will be a panel discussion/presentation led by Winthrop Town Manager, Austin Faison at which attendees will be provided an overview of the details of initiatives being undertaken to address climate change in Winthrop. The Town Manager will be joined by representatives from various state agencies, including but not limited to, Mystic River Watershed and Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC)

The event will run from 6 – 7:45 p.m. in the Hazlett Room, Winthrop Public Library, located at 2 Metcalf Square, Winthrop, MA 02152. Parking is available behind the Town Hall and Library (entrance to parking lot on Hermon Street.) Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Winthrop Public Library.
