Join the Friends of the Fells as we participate in our annual COASTSWEEP of Spot Pond in honor of National Public Lands Day. COASTSWEEP is sponsored by the Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management every fall. Volunteers come together to clean up and catalog inland coastal debris. Finds are studied and used to develop educational and policy initiatives. 

All ages welcome! GROUPS ENCOURAGED but please RSVP for teams larger than 4 individuals. Hours are flexible. Clean-up supplies are provided, but please wear close-toed shoes and bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and bug spray. Rain or shine, but lightning cancels.
