Collections Up Close – Fruits of the Bradley Rosaceous Collection

The diverse rose family (Rosaceae) includes more than four thousand species. If you ate fruit today, you likely consumed a member of the rose family. Many of these plants are of great significance to the global agricultural economy and are vulnerable to extreme weather and changing climate. Enjoy tours, Science in Our Park, and practice Rachel Carson-inspired observation skills.
