Climate Preparedness Week: Two Documentaries

Please join the Edgartown Public Library for the screening of two documentaries for Climate Prep Week.

At 1 p.m. - Burned: Are Trees the New Coal?, the latest documentary from filmmakers Alan Dater and Lisa Merton, tells the little-known story of the accelerating destruction of our forests for fuel, and considers the broader impact of this industry on the climate. (US, 2017).

At 2:30 p.m. - The Age of Stupid, filmmaker Franny Armstrong imagines the world in 2055, devastated by climate change. Humanity’s sole survivor (Pete Postlethwaite) tries to figure out what went wrong. (New Zealand, 2009).

Will you come?
