Please join us as Max Rose Zimberg discusses how our food choices affect human and environmental health and how you can manage your impacts.

Max Rose Zimberg is the Program Coordinator for the Planetary Health Alliance: an international consortium co-housed at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and the Harvard University Center for the Environment comprised of over 120 universities, NGOs, government entities, and other community partners committed to advancing planetary health – an emerging and interdisciplinary field focused on characterizing the human health impacts of anthropogenic disruptions to Earth’s natural systems. Prior to joining the PHA team, Max worked in her native New York City on public health and food policy issues at the Office of the Brooklyn Borough President and was awarded the 2018-19 Bartsch Fellowship from the Committee on Global Thought at Columbia University. Max graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University with a B.A. in Evolutionary Biology of the Human Species and Sustainable Development and holds certifications in Vinyasa Yoga (RYT-250) and in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at Cornell University.
